What exactly you Eat?

It’s high time that everyone needs to check there food carefully before taking it to the mouth for a taste.

Normally foodie people do not exactly bother about it, what all matters is the beautiful garnishing and the lovely taste of the food. And normally it results to bad health.

But now be aware before you take a single bite of taste, because the stuff you are eating could be the hub of bacteria.

The most common bacteria that can get into your food like beef and vegetable is E. coli.
E. coli is such a bacterium that resides in the intestine and gets into the blood causing E. coli infection, resulting rare illness and sometimes serious food poisoning.

Most E. coli infections usually come from:

• Eating undercooked ground beef, when the inside of the beef is still pink
• Drinking contaminated water or (impure water)
• Drinking unpasteurized milk

So now the question comes that how to know that you are affected with E. coli.
And the answer is that you see certain symptoms if you are affected with this bacteria, i.e

• Bad stomach cramp and belly pain
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea, sometimes with blood in it.

So, why to get into the mess of bacteria, and why let the bacteria to eat you as its prey?

Have a bit patience, check your yummy looking beautifully garnished plate and then buck into your foods.
There are certain ways also to keep your-self healthy and avoid getting E. coli infection.

• Use soap and wash your hands carefully before you start cooking.
• Cook ground beef until you see no pink anywhere.
• While you are cooking do not taste small bites of raw ground beef.
• Do not place or put cooked hamburgers on a plate that had raw ground beef on it
before. Place your cooked hamburgers to separate clean plate.
• All hamburgers should be cooked to at least 155°F. If possible, use a meat thermometer to help you test your hamburgers.
• Always defrost your meats in the refrigerator or the microwave. Do not let meat sit on the counter and wait for it to defrost.
• Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods.
• Use hot water and soap to wash cutting boards and dishes if raw meat and poultry have touched them. If possible use a separate cutting board for meat and vegetables.
• Do not drink raw milk.
• Keep food refrigerated or frozen.
• Keep hot food hot and cold food cold.
• Always refrigerate your leftovers right away or throw them away.
• If you have diarrhea then you should wash your hands carefully and often, using hot
water and soap, and wash your hands for at least 30 seconds.
• People who work in day care centers and homes for the elderly should wash their hands often, too.
• In restaurants, always ask your hamburgers to be cooked well done so that no pink shows.

If you will keep these things in mind, then you have all the secrets of a better health.
